1 To work with various agencies of government at all levels to evolve and implement relevant policies and programs aimed at optimizing the reproductive health outcomes of Nigerians.
2 To advocate for the enunciation of relevant laws and statutes that would promote the dignity and fundamental human and reproductive rights of women and free them from abuse, disease, discrimination, exploitation and unmitigated violence.
3 To use every opportunity to provide continuing reproductive health education to communities, especially at the grass-roots level, and to develop and or adapt appropriate IEC materials for raising the awareness of targeted groups about reproductive health (in particular women’s health) and related population issues.
4 To conduct multi-center formative and intervention research on essential issues in sexual and reproductive health, so as to generate important data for targeting policies and programs in sexual and reproductive health.
5 To maintain a continuing program of active documentation in sexual and reproductive health through regular publication of the Journal of Sexual and Reproductive Health Issues. Other publications will include pamphlets, newsletter and memoranda.
6 To establish a reproductive health library of international standard to be used by the general public, and that would have modern telecommunication facilities including internet and various computerized retrieval systems for reproductive health data.
7 Has an established Reproductive Health Clinic and attends to gynecological challenges with special emphasis on reproductive endocrinology, infertility and its management, with a vision to put in place facilities for assisted reproductive conception of international repute.
The committee of Associates is composed of individuals with committed interest in research, advocacy and programming in the respective focal areas of the organization. Such individuals are persons with considerable track records in their respective fields of calling, of good standing in the society and the community in general. They are admitted following approval of their formal application by the Executive Director. The committee of Associates meets once monthly.
